The Beltrami County Historical Society will host a presentation by Erin Hanafin Berg entitled, “The Ten Most Endangered Historic Properties in Minnesota,” May 21 at 5 p.m. at the Beltrami County History Center, 130 Minnesota Ave. SW, Bemidji.

Erin Hanafin Berg brings more than fifteen years of hands-on preservation experience to her role as Field Representative for the Preservation Alliance of Minnesota.  Berg graduated from Saint Olaf College in Northfield with majors in Studio Art and Norwegian and a self-designed concentration in Architectural Studies. Along with her strong background in preservation, some of Berg’s studies include traditional arts and handcrafts in Norway, and a survey and analysis of post-World War II basement houses in southeastern South Dakota.

All history presentations are free and open to the public.  Refreshments will be provided.  For more information, call 444-3376.
