"Downtown History Tour" July 20, 2007 
The Beltrami County Historical Society is presenting the first-ever “Downtown History Tour” Friday, July 20. The tour begins at 6 p.m. at the History Center, 130 Minnesota Ave. SW in downtown Bemidji. The tour encompasses a six-block historic walking tour with reenactments of the life and times of area residents portrayed by local actors.
The cost of a $10 ticket for adults and $5 for children includes a raffle drawing, free museum admission and refreshments at the History Center following the tour. Tickets may be purchased at the History Center M-Sat. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For details, call

6th annual Depot Day Fest  August 11, 2007 The Beltrami County Historical Society will be celebrating its 6th annual Depot Day on Saturday, August 11, 2007 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the History Center , 130 Minnesota Ave. , Bemidji . This fundraising event features children's activities, arts and crafts, horse and wagon rides vintage car display, square dancing, Baker’s Place Catering.

Lefse Festival Cook-off Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the Hampton Inn 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Kick-off the holidays with this fun fundraising event which includes music, vendors, door prizes, lefse sales and samples and bragging rights to the winner of the "best darn lefse maker in northern Minnesota.
