About the event

The Beltrami County Historical Society is excited to invite the community to its Caboose and Cocoa event on Thursday, November 29, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Beltrami County History Center, located at 130 Minnesota Ave SW in downtown Bemidji. This free, family-friendly event will kick off the holiday season with fun activities for all ages, including free caboose tours, complimentary cocoa, and coloring pages.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the festive red 1948 Great Northern steel cupola caboose, which has been beautifully decorated for the holidays by our incredible volunteers. Visitors are also encouraged to park at the depot and take a short walk downtown to enjoy the Night We Light festivities.

This is a great chance to enjoy the season while celebrating the community's rich history. We invite everyone to join us for a fun and memorable evening!
