2025 DerechO Archive

Help us document the 2025 derecho

The derecho that swept through our region in 2025 left a powerful mark on landscapes, homes, businesses, and lives. While the damage was physical, the experiences were deeply human.

We’re asking for your help to preserve this historic moment. Whether you took a photo of fallen trees, recorded a video of the skies, or want to share what it felt like in those hours and days, your story matters.

Please use the form below to submit your photographs, videos, and personal reflections. Your contribution will become part of the permanent archive at the Beltrami County Historical Society, helping future generations understand not just what happened, but how it felt, what we endured, where it all seemed to fall apart, and how we came together.

Thank you for being part of this shared history.
