About the event

Beltrami County Historical Society welcomes spiritual leader, drummer, singer, and announcer Darrell Kingbird of Ponemah on Thursday, January 18 at noon for the first Brown Bag History program of 2024. Darrell joins us to share his lifelong expertise and passion for sharing and performing Ojibwe music and member of the Kingbird Singers. We welcome Darrell as our first speaker in our 2024 theme “Keeping Time: Beltrami County’s Music History.”
