Teens! Author Lily Williams is coming to discuss her book "Go With the Flow," which tackles the topic of periods in a straightforward, relatable way.
Williams will share what inspired her to write about menstruation, why breaking the stigma matters, and how young people can be part of changing the conversation. This will be a judgment-free zone where you can ask questions, share experiences, or just listen and learn.
People of all genders are welcome and encouraged to attend, because period education is for everyone! Whether you're dealing with periods yourself or want to gain a better understanding and support friends who do, this talk is for you.
Free copies of "Go With the Flow" are available at the Beltrami County Historical Society and Bemidji Public Library while supplies last, thanks to the Friends of the Carnegie Library.
