About the event
Join us for a community event commemorating the 10th anniversary of the statue honoring Shaynowishkung (He Who Rattles) at Library Park.
PLEASE NOTE:
This program begins and ends at the Beltrami County History Center and includes a community walk to Library Park, a short ceremony at the statue, a visit to Shaynowishkung’s historic birchbark homesite, and a reflection program and reception back at the History Center.
Schedule:
• 9:30 AM – Walkers depart from the History Center
• 9:45 AM – Shuttle bus departs from the History Center for Elders and others needing assistance
