Depot Days

By Emily Thabes, Executive Director

#FriendsofHistory, what an incredible weekend we've had celebrating the successes of the past year! Thanks to all of the visitors, members, volunteers, board members, and supporters who came out to join us for our programs on Friday and Saturday and those able to join us for our annual meeting on Saturday morning. We especially appreciate our artists Brian Miller and Acoustic Smoke for helping us celebrate with literally historic music, made possible by the voters of Minnesota, through a grant from the Region 2 Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

I was especially honored today to share our Annual Report, a summary of the incredible work of dozens of volunteers, board members, staff, and concerned community members. Our report includes highlights of June 2021 - June 2022, including grant awards, programs, events, exhibits, and other work accomplished critical to our mission to collect, preserve, and share the history of Beltrami County. Our report is shared below, and it is also available on our website on our About Me page. Thank you for your contributions - even if it's just checking out our blog - to help keep history alive for all of our #FriendsofHistory! I look forward to another spectacular year with you.
